COUN 6215 Lifespan Development

You will be provided with an overview of development through the lifespan, including
childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and aging experiences. Physical, social, emotional, and cognitive
issues are discussed as well as the expected developmental milestones during each of these phases
of development. The recent research in attachment theory, brain research, and aging is also included, and
themes of diversity issues related to developmental research are highlighted throughout COUN 6215.
