NRS 429V Week 3: The word heritage has many different laymen terms and meanings. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary heritage means “the traditions, achievements, beliefs, etc., that are part of the history of a group or nation.” This simply means the way and things in which a person believes and practices. These ideas, traditions, and beliefs are passed down from generation to generation and must be acknowledged by professionals who come in contact with those who don’t have the same ideas and practices as ours.
