Since the year 2000, the Kansas City Royals Mascot,“Sluggerrr”, performs a “Hotdog Launch” at their home games between the innings.  Mr. John C. Coomer was present at a Kansas City Royals baseball game with his father on September 08, 2009.  During an intermission of the game; the Kansas City Royals Mascot initiated the Hotdog Launch, where some hotdogs are launched from an air gun and others by hand.  The significance between the two methods is the coating of the hotdogs.  The hotdogs shot out by the air gun are ……with bubble wrap, whereas the ones thrown by hand or wrapped in foil.
